UK trained therapist with over 10 years experience working privately with individuals. Following my initial training in existential psychotherapy I became interested in group work and completed a foundation training in open dialogue, an approach to dealing with mental health crises along with social networks and families.
After some time working in these ways, I also developed an interest in the therapeutic use of altered states of consciousness and became a facilitator of psychedelic integration workshops with the Mind Foundation for European Science. These workshops delve into a deep group process to integrate biographical and psychedelic experiences in order to promote sustainable use of altered states to create meaningful changes in people’s lives and communities.
My belief is that it is important to educate, reduce harm and promote a culture of psychedelic integration in order to deepen the experiences of all those who decide to use altered states of consciousness as therapeutic tools.
As a therapist, I am dedicated to continuous professional development and attend the advanced practitioner program in existential analytic psychotherapy at the southern association of psychotherapy and counselling (SAFPAC) in the UK and am in the process of application for the European certificate of psychotherapy (EAP) after my relocation to Portugal.
I trained under and currently adhere to the ethical guidelines of the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy and Counselling (UKCP).
